Bolton Mets On Tour
The annual end of season tour is a highlight in the Mets'
social calendar. The term 'tour' is losely used as generally the
only touring includes moving from one pub to the next and there generally
isn't much in the way of rugby played as would be expected from a tour.
The only competitive sport usually involves golf or snooker. But
hey, it's nice to get bladdered somewhere else for a change.
Remember.........'What goes on on tour, stays on tour'.
Usual tour highlights include:
-
Breakdancing in public places and nightclubs, including the
famous 3-man assisted head-spin move. We may be retro but we don't
care.
-
Stupid behaviour or idiocy to make the fabled 'Tour Book
of Shame'.
-
All encompassing games of charades which involve all our
fellow travellers whether they like it or not.
-
A complete reticence to play any games of rugby whatsoever.
